Empowering EFL Learners: Insights on Effective Strategies<\/h4>\n

The English Language Teaching Department, Faculty of Education at Tishk International University (TIU) hosted a seminar on English as a Foreign Language (EFL) Learning Strategies by English Language Teaching Department, held on February 28th, 2024. The seminar, titled “Learning Strategies Used By EFL Learners<\/strong><\/em>,” and led by renowned scholar Prof. Dr. Fatimah R. Hasan Al Bajalani<\/b><\/a>, Lecturer from Salahaddin University<\/a> explored effective techniques for English as a Foreign Language (EFL) students to optimize their language acquisition journey. Prof. Dr. Sultan Abu-Orab<\/a>i, President of TIU and Assist. Prof. Dr.Dogan Ozdemir,<\/a> Dean of Faculty of Education, extended a warm welcome to Prof. Dr. Fatimah R. Hasan Al Bajalani highlighting the university’s dedication to providing world-class educational opportunities and fostering collaboration between institutions.<\/p>\n

The seminar delved into the specific language learning strategies that contribute to successful outcomes for EFL learners. Prof. Dr. Fatimah R. Hasan Al Bajalani’s insightful presentation drew upon extensive research and practical experience in the field. The seminar generated significant interest and participation among faculty, students, and guest lecturers from both TIU and Salahaddin University. We were honoured to have hosted Prof. Dr. Fatimah R. Hasan Al Bajalani, Lecturer from Salahaddin University, and welcomed the valuable participation of guest lecturers from both institutions,” Dr.Venera Ulker, Head of the English Language Teaching Department. “Her research offers invaluable guidance to both teachers and EFL students, and fostering collaboration between universities strengthens our collective educational impact.”<\/p>\n<\/p>\n\n\t\t
