This program aims to equip students with the knowledge and skills required for language teaching and to prepare them to make academic contributions at national and international levels in the field of <a href=\"https:\/\/education.tiu.edu.iq\/elt\/\">English Language Teaching<\/a>. The program values and therefore encourages students to become committed to their studies, be problem-solvers, competent teachers, and motivated life-long learners who take a theoretical and practical approach to <a href=\"https:\/\/education.tiu.edu.iq\/elt\/\">English Language Teaching<\/a> as a distinct discipline. The program aims to provide a learning environment that supports the development of 21st-century skills, such as critical thinking, creativity, collaboration, technology literacy, flexibility, social skills, and productivity to help our graduates become active members of their communities. The program curriculum contains a teaching practicum to give the students hands-on teaching experiences in real school environments.
