Typing and Training Competition<\/h4>\n

The Department of Computer Education,\u00a0<\/span>Faculty of Education<\/span><\/a>\u00a0at\u00a0<\/span>Tishk International University<\/span><\/a>, organized a Typing and Training Competition that started on 29th November 2022 and continued for one month. The training was conducted on Sundays, Tuesdays, and Wednesdays from 3:30 PM to 4:30 PM in the Education Building, Lab 100.<\/span><\/p>\n

Typing and training on a keyboard can have a variety of outcomes for students depending on the goals of the individual and their level of dedication to the process. This competition aimed to help students achieve:<\/span><\/p>\n

    \n
  1. Increased typing speed and accuracy: Regular typing practice can lead to faster and more accurate typing skills, which can improve productivity and efficiency in various contexts.<\/span><\/li>\n
  2. Improved hand-eye coordination: Typing involves coordinating hand movements with visual input from the keyboard and screen, which can enhance hand-eye coordination skills.<\/span><\/li>\n
  3. Reduced physical strain: Proper typing techniques and ergonomics can reduce the risk of developing repetitive strain injuries (RSIs) such as carpal tunnel syndrome.<\/span><\/li>\n
  4. Improved spelling and grammar: Consistent typing practice can help individuals improve their spelling and grammar skills as they become more familiar with common words and phrases.<\/span><\/li>\n
  5. Enhanced job prospects: Proficiency in typing is often considered an essential requirement for many jobs, and improving one’s typing skills can open up new job opportunities.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n
