The Dean of Students<\/a> at Tishk International University (TIU)<\/a> held a food fundraising event on November 29th, 2023, in which it also showcased the university’s commitment to community service and student engagement through the introduction of the social community projects and clubs held at the university. The event was hosted by our student Revan Rzgar and featured a compelling speech by Dr. Mohammed Abdullghani, Dean of Students enriching the day with insightful perspectives and inspiration for the university community. Collaborating with faculties, students, and staff, the initiative sought to bolster and advance the community service projects held at the university.<\/p>\n Each year, the Dean of Students spearheads these fundraising projects, where participants sell an assortment of items, including food, desserts, and drinks. Volunteer students are actively involved in the preparation and sale, fostering a deeper appreciation for social responsibility. This year, students from the Biology Education Department participated to raise funds for their department’s projects.
