On January 3rd, 2022, the Department of Biology, Faculty of Education at Tishk International University organised an orientation program for first-grade students. The event aimed to welcome the new students and familiarise them with the courses, rules, and activities of the Biology Education Department. The orientation program started at 9:30 AM, and the Head of the Biology Education Department,\u00a0<\/span>Mr. Harmand Ali<\/span>, warmly welcomed the students to the department, congratulated them on reaching this academic level, and delivered a motivational speech to the future biologists. He also went through the qualities and values the students should uphold during the education journey and professional life and spoke about what it takes to be a student working in the educational area.<\/span><\/p>\n After that, an overall view of the\u00a0<\/span>Tishk International University<\/span><\/a>\u2019s system, as well as the study system, GPA, Website, Lecture notes and regulations within the Faculty of Education, was explained by the\u00a0<\/span>Biology Department<\/span><\/a>\u00a0staff members.<\/span><\/p>\n The first-grade students then had a tour of the campus, followed by the last session of the orientation program, which was conducted by the Dean of Students Representatives in the\u00a0<\/span>Biology Education Department<\/span><\/a>, in which the value of extracurricular activities<\/span> explaining the value of extracurricular activities, such as workshops, projects, and community service at TIU.<\/p>\n\n\t\t
